I‘ve lived and worked in a lot of countries: Sweden, Japan, the southern Chinese countryside, Hong Kong, South Korea, the US, and Canada. For more than a decade I’ve been editing for NAOJ, the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.
At ISAS/JAXA, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, I taught researchers technical English. I loved my students, rocket scientists in the department of Space and Astronautical Science at SOKENDAI who learned to give English PechaKucha presentations about space technology. I’ve also taught at Meisei University, been editor of publications at Tokyo’s English Language Education Council, narrated books and documentaries, voice-acted for films, and voiced roles in video games. Most of all, I’m a collaborator.
